FAQs.

1. What is a hackathon?

Hackathons have long been a staple event in the Tech Industry since the late 1990’s. It’s an intense event that brings together computer programmers like software developers, graphic designers and user interface specialists to use technology to transform ideas in reality.

2. What if I don’t know how to code?

Not a problem! Your experience is entirely irrelevant going into a hackathon, it’s more about your interest in technology. We would suggest you teaming up with people who can so you can learn about it though.

3. What do I bring?

Bring your laptop, energy and your brain!

4. How do I join a team?

We encourage participants to start forming teams before the event. If you don’t have a team but are keen to join please email camilla.trigwell@qa.com ASAP and we will be sure to find you a team.

You only need to submit a short form!

Please register your interest below and we will then email you full details and what you need to do next!
